It is the only number to have been issued only once by the Rays.   Boggs career includes 3,000 hits, 5 Batting Championships and Induction into Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.   Tampa native Wade Boggs will then visit the Ted Williams Museum at Tropicana Field on Tuesday June 28 for a charity autograph signing from gates open till game time. Proceeds from the signing will benefit the Ted Williams Scholarship fund. More information on the signing will be posted after his Fenway Park Induction Ceremony.
