Museum Honors Chicago Great Paul Konerko

Paul Konerko, a 6-time All-Star and World Series champion recently paid his last visit to Tropicana Field as a player. His 20-year career includes 439 home runs alongside an attitue to play the game as a hard nose catcher and first baseman that made him a fan favorite amongst White Sox fans. Paul was recently presented with an autographed Ted Williams Bat from the Hall of Famers' Museum by Executive Director, Dave McCarthy, and Director of Florida Operations, Tony Penna. The Museum is located inside Tropicana Field and has inducted players since it's beginning in 1993 when Ted Williams picked the original 20. There is no question Ted would want the type of player that Paul is and more so the type of man. The Museum is honored to have Paul Konerko listed among the greats of baseball.
